  • Byolenganya Olo Bernoulli aged 28 is the Executive Director of

    Community Support Center / CSC-Asbl based in the eastern part of DR Congo founded in 2016. He funds this charity through his work as a Civil Engineer.

    Olo was a victim of discrimination and social injustice due to his

    health situation. Driven by the desire to make sure that no child will experience a difficult childhood like his own, he founded CSC-Asbl with the vision to promote fellowship, empowerment and the rights of children and girl survivors and victims of wars, ethnic conflicts, and violence, in order to give them joy and hope for a better future, so that they become productive members of society.

    Olo is certified and experienced in Child Safeguarding Policy making, Accountability, Working with psychological trauma and Unlocking the Power of Inclusion.

  • Atale lives and works in the eastern part of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. He is the Managing Director of SHI-Asbl. The mission is rooted in the provision of life-saving humanitarian assistance, sustainable development and the empowerment of marginalised communities. The mission of SHI-Asbl is to work towards a world where every child has access to equitable nutrition, helath care and education.

  • Sage Dunia Ezechiel is a Congolese professional (DRC) with a passion for rural development, programme management, and child protection.

    Currently serving as the Programmes Coordinator for The Congo Tree DRC since April 2020, he promotes the organisation's programmes to partner organisations an government authorities, combats exploitation and violence against children, supervises interns, and coordinates financial and budget planning. Additionally, he mentors young people in personal development with The Congo Tree.

    Sage is also engaged in a mentorship programme with TNHK, further enhancing his leadership and mentoring skills. Previously, he worked as a Project Manager at Tearfund DRC, where he planned and coordinated major events in collaboration with the government and media teams. He also served as a Programmes Assistant at Clesking DRC, where he coordinated budgets, collected and analysed data, and organised training workshops.

    He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Rural Development with a specialisation in Development Enterprise Management from ISDR-GL, a Diploma in Theology with aspecialisation in Theological Leadership from ULPGL, and a Diploma in Social Sciences with a specialisation in Social Technology from Alleluya Institute. In addition to his professional roles, he volunteers for children's rights advocacy with World Vision Goma, teaches Sunday school at the 8th CEPAC LA SOURCE Goma, and coordinates youth activities at the 8th CEPAC La Source Church in Goma.

    Sage has completed numerous additional trainings, including a Global Mission Conference in Nairobi, Kenya, child protection and risk management training in Goma, digital age human rights training with Rudi International, and sustainable development goals training in Kigali. He possesses skills in team management, active listening, negotiation, positive communication, organisation, stress resistance, public speaking and training facilitation. He is proficient in various software programmes, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SPSS, KOBO Collect, and Canva. Sage is fluent in French, English, and Swahili, and has a good command of Lingala.

  • Irene is a Programme and Innovations Manager at Y-Fem Namibia Trust. She has over 10 years experience as a feminist organiser working in the intersectional feminist movements. She is passionate about strengthening the voices of girls and young women in all their diversity within their communities, by igniting their passion and creating safe spaces for them to champion their issues. This is develops feminist leadership to ensure women take a feminist approach in collectively advocating and demanding their rights.

Our efforts encompass advocacy, sponsorships, scholarships, and mentorship.

  • Nikiwe Mtema is a dynamic and passionate leader committed to transforming mental health in Malawi. At 27, she holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences, majoring in Sociology, and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Health and Behaviour Change Communication.

    As the co-founder and Executive Director of Rugare Mental Health Organization, Nikiwe is dedicated to empowering individuals with the knowledge, resources, and support needed to foster a culture that prioritizes mental health, promotes awareness, and advocates for holistic well-being.

    Rugare Mental Health envisions a Malawi where mental health is embraced as a fundamental aspect of overall wellness, allowing individuals to seek help without fear of stigma or discrimination. Nikiwe's extensive experience includes participation in various workshops and training sessions on critical subjects such as child protection, social impact, design thinking, fundraising, leadership, communication, data collection, and analysis. Her commitment to mental health advocacy and her comprehensive skill set make her a leading figure in the movement toward a mentally healthy Malawi.

  • Alina is a geologist as well as a geohydrologist with a notable academic background, including an Honors Degree in Geology from the University of Namibia, another Honors Degree Geohydrology (Cumlaude) , and a Masters Degree in Geohydrology both from University of the Free State , South Africa. In addition, Alina is a Global Changemakers Alumni who holds certifications such as a Certification in Sustainability Leadership, from United People Global, and Basic Mental Health First Aid.

    Apart from her academic achievements, Alina is passionate about personal development, transformation, empowerment, leadership, mental and physical health, and education. Having battled with mental health herself, she actively engages as a mental health activist, life coach, mentor and speaker to raise mental health awareness, break barriers and stigmas surrounding mental health.

  • I live in Harare, Zimbabwe, and I am 35 years old. I have 15 years experience working to change for the better civil society, especially on projects related to gender justice, sustainable livelihoods, and social and economic development for local communities.

    I also work for Heart and Soul broadcasting Services, where I promote a programme called Bro Code that is centred on issues that affect men and boys, including their mental health.

    In 2021 I set up Men 4 Equality which promotes gender equality, equity and understanding.

    I have recently been appointed a board member of Ravo Africa Foundation. This is a Uganda based NGO that works with vulnerable communities and children.

  • James has just graduated from University in Burundi and is now back home in the Democratic Republic of Congo. He is being coached by Mark Walker and mentored by two LTL young leaders, Olo Benoulli and Medi Muyisa. His aim is to set up an organisation to promote the empowerment of young people through education, training in entrepreneurship, personal development, and financial management.

    He believes that this will help to create income generating activities which will in turn empower young people and support them in taking responsibility for their own futures.

With a deep passion for advocating for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through effective policy processes, Joy has actively contributed to various organizations and initiatives.

    Joy’s commitment to making a positive impact led to volunteering with prominent NGOs such as the Shamiri Institute, Teach for Kenya, Rahul Kotak Foundation and Pacemaker International.

    Joy actively participated in these organizations, gaining valuable experience in implementing initiatives that promote sustainable development and improve the lives of marginalized communities.

    Through Joy’s work at the Shamiri Institute and Teach for Kenya, Joy showcased her expertise in research and policy development. These contributions helped develop innovative solutions to pressing social issues and improve educational opportunities for underprivileged children.

    Recognised for influence and impact, Joy received the prestigious title of Social Media Influencer of the Year in 2018 and Best Team Leader and Best Sustainable Development Project at Pacemaker International in 2023.

    Her ability to effectively communicate and engage with audiences on various platforms has allowed them to raise awareness about important social causes and inspire positive change.
